Local broadcaster SBS reported that Jung, 29, used hidden cameras to film unsuspecting victims and shared the footage with members of a chatroom, whose members allegedly included BigBang singer Seungri. Other reports indicated that 10 women were secretly filmed. According to lifestyle portal allkpop, Jung is now prohibited from leaving the country during investigations. In his statement, Jung said: "I admit to all my sins that have been reported. I have filmed women without consent and have distributed footage in social media chatrooms, and I've felt no guilt while doing so.

Jung Joon-young, a K-pop singer, illicitly taped sex videos and shared them via mobile messenger group chats that included Seungri of K-pop idol group BigBang, a local broadcaster reported on Monday. One of the group chats included Seungri of BigBang, who is currently under investigation for brokering prostitution for investors. Jung is also reportedly included in a group chat in which Seungri made orders to procure sexual favors for his clients. Seungri, who has been booked without physical detention on suspicion of doing so, announced he was quitting his entertainment career on Monday.
